The Arab Football Federation (AFA) has announced the acclaimed nomination of Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al-Faisal to the presidency for the coming period, replacing Turki Al-Sheikh, who resigned a few weeks ago .

According to the official minutes of the Arab Union through Twitter for social networks, the General Assembly decided at its extraordinary meeting to choose Faisal to assume this post.

The Arab Federation said on Twitter: "The recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal as President of the Arab Football Federation by the General Assembly of the Federation at its (25) meeting extraordinary now in Jeddah ".

The meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Union was held Monday afternoon in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to recommend the new president in the absence of a candidate against him.
