Officially: Orfox has stopped for Tor on Android

In the past, to connect to the Tor network on Android, two applications were needed, the first Orbot and the second Orfox.

The first is to connect to Tor and the second to browse private Tor sites.

Last year, a new browser was launched, which includes both applications and components. Now the Orfox application is complete and the application has been closed.

The application now contains a message asking users to download the Tor browser, with the following content:

In addition, if Orfox is still installed on your device, this version will ask you to download the new Tor browser for Android.

Orbot is still the application used to connect to the Tor network. It is therefore used to route specific applications or network traffic via Tor.

So, if you are less concerned about privacy and simply want to avoid "website blocks," you can use Orbot with any browser instead of Tor. Finally, Tor has a mechanism to route your web traffic on its network. A network of encrypted computers around the world.
