PARIS (Reuters) – French club Paris Saint-Germain have lost 10-week-old Brazilian star Neymar da Silva for injury.
The club said in a statement that Neymar would be unavailable for 10 weeks, during which he would undergo treatment without surgery, hoping to return to the stadium in time for the quarter-finals of the Champions League in qualifying case of St. Germain.
Neymar will then miss the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Manchester United.
"It will be very difficult for Neymar to play Manchester United in the round of 16 on February 12, but the official confirmation today is that the Brazilian star will not be able to participate in the return meeting scheduled for the 6th. next March.
