Officially .. the competitions decide to postpone the Ahli meeting and the pyramids

The Egyptian Federation's Competitions Committee, led by Amer Hussein, has officially announced the postponement of the match between Al Ahly and Pyramids in the Premier League, to be held on another date after the match.

The statement of the Competitions Committee was as follows:

With the authorization of the Egyptian Football Federation's Board of Directors and the Competition Committee's clubs, determine the appropriate dates for the teams competing for the Premier League.

The committee decided to postpone the match between Al Ahli and Pyramids on February 28th to a date after the match between Al Ahli and Zamalek and the three teams (Zamalek, Pyramids and Al Ahly) according to the order of the matches in the announced table of the competition.

Al Ahly issued an official statement including 8 "fire" resolutions after the council meeting chaired by Mahmoud Khatib, which included the following:

The categorical refusal to replace an Al Ahly match in the league tournament with another Cup match, under the pressure of any party. Especially that the football federation is the one who prepared the league calendar itself without any interference from any party, the first to respect his schedule and keep his reward in front of the clubs, and if the substitute wishes to respect another part to avoid Ahli's clash in the championship before March 30th. He has the right to ask the Football Association to postpone his match against Al Ahli in the league until after March 30th.

Earlier, the Pyramids Club issued an official statement and Turki Al-Sheikh, the club's owner, announced that he was refusing to play for Al Ahly in the league's second round on Jan. 28, prior to that. Al Ahly does not play his match against Zamalek in the first round.

The competition committee decided earlier on March 30 that the date of the match Ahli and Zamalek was postponed to the first round of the competition.
