The former Barcelona legend, Samuel Eto's, has announced his retirement from football after a long career.
In a statement to local media, Eto's announced the end of his career after a career of more than 22 years after the end of his career with the Qatar team.
Eto's retired five years after retiring from international football with Cameroon, with 118 caps, scoring 58 goals.
Eto's has been able to represent many great clubs, from Real Madrid to Barcelona via Inter and Chelsea.
The Cameroonian legend has managed to win many individual and collective titles, including the title of best player on the continent four times in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010, in addition to winning the Champions League four times (twice in Barcelona, a with Inter Milan and one with Real Madrid).
Internationally, Eto's won twice the Africa Cup of Nations and won the gold medal at the 2000 Olympics.
