Omani court sentenced to death for man with AIDS

A court in the Sultanate of Oman was sentenced on Monday to 10 years in prison and a fine of 5,000 riyals ($ 13,000) for an AIDS victim who assaulted a child.

According to the prosecution, the accused had tried to put pressure on the child and pursue him for days in the neighborhood, before meeting him in a razor.

Immediately, the child informed his father, who also informed the police, who had arrested and interrogated the accused, and returned him to the public prosecutor's office, who had committed him for trial.

The investigation revealed that the defendant had a criminal record and was diagnosed with HIV / AIDS. He was accused of seducing a boy by proroguing him.

Omani police also found pornographic children 's videos on his personal phone and acknowledged his guilt and intention to beat him intimidatingly.
