* Did you imagine that you would one day be the hero of the “Supernatural” series?
** Personally, I am a very loyal reader of the “Supernatural” series of novels, and I personally love it. Of course I had a very big dream and at one point I wanted to play the character of Dr Rifaat Ismail the calm and mysterious blood doctor, but whatever my imagination I never imagined this The dream comes true. I was nominated for the character, which to me is bigger than the fiction carried by the title “Metaphysics”, so what happened to me was a stretch of the imagination.

Were you the number one contender for the series? How did you receive the assignment of this role?
** Yes, I might have been the first contender to take on the role, and director Amr Salama was very convinced of me that I am the best person for the role of “Rifaat Ismail” in “Supernatural”. I prepared a lot for the role and worked on the details of the character for a long time. We did long rehearsals and took a long time to get ready to make it all turn out as imaginary, and my reception of the role was very scared, and maybe I was scared of the incarnation to the time, and I said to Amr Salama: “There are those who could be better than me”, but he was determined to play the part, and that gave me great enthusiasm, because Salameh had confidence in me in Awesome image, which encouraged me and assured me that I would take responsibility and play the role.

* Prepare a fictional series that simulates a famous story in the form of a series that has millions of fans … How were your accounts of all this?
** I don’t deny that I was scared and the fear stuck, but I was glad that Dr Ahmed Khaled Tawfiq, the author of the whole group, wished the work to appear as a series, and this may have brought us all before a huge goal that must be achieved, and we have prepared the preparations for the “Supernatural” series. “Because of his fictional character, he doesn’t look like the real thing, neither he nor his heroes, so we took the time to prepare the characters, the writing, the sets, the photography, the music and everything.
I think the preparation time avoided the risk of profiling and the work looks similar to any other fictional work.

* Do you see any similarities between you and the hero character, “Rifaat Ismail”?
** I find myself very possessed by the qualities of the hero, and I think that there are a lot of similarities between us, such as that he is a calm person and doesn’t like to appear or photograph, and he likes the silence and talking to each other and analyzing things with the greatest calm, and there are other similar things with him and I think they appear over time It will appear more in the future.
* What are your reactions and personal evaluation of your experience in performing the character “Rifaat Ismail”?
** I think the reactions are very good and the show has been very well received. As for the idea that I play the character “Rifaat Ismail”, it is in itself a great honor for me, because he is one of the few characters engraved in the minds of people all over the Arab world, and influences thought and conscience, and I was particularly impressed and “Metaphysics” is my all-time favorite novel.

* But your portrayal of a serious role and you’re a comedian in the first place may have been the subject of controversy for a long time until the show aired. What is your answer?
** Very natural that there were a lot of reactions which were surprised by my introduction to the role of “Rifaat Ismail” early on on social media, as I am an actor who started out with comedy, so people imagine that I’m classified as a comedian, and they’ve linked me to comedic roles, but many don’t know I’m a serious actor. In some works I have short films, but the comedies are not as popular and are also shown on social media sites.
There has already been an argument between those who know I’m good at serious roles, and those who only connect me to the actor, but those who have seen some of my serious shorts have found that I can play the role of the actor. role and present a role away from comedy, which is normal and smooth for me.
* Is it clear from your speech that you hate classification in any artistic field?
** As an actor, I’m originally against classification, and I don’t like being limited to a specific type, and with very great diversity, and there is a rule I put in front of me that is that the hero is always the story. If the story is serious, the hero is serious and can persuade, and if the story is comical and has sarcastic situations, he can Actor with a laugh. Therefore, there is no classification from the bottom up, but rather from the story and how it deals with events.
A good actor is someone who can develop and prepare to move from a personality to a character or to present an artistic type that they have not presented before.
