BAGHDAD (Reuters) – The death toll from an explosion in a mass deposition in southern Baghdad killed one and injured 29 others on Tuesday, the health ministry said Tuesday.
"The record of the equipment explosion in a camp belonging to the popular mobilization in Dora, Baghdad, has raised a martyr and 29 wounded," said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aliens, Saif al-Bader, in a statement received by Anatolia.
"Most of them were slightly injured," he said.
On Monday, an Iraqi security source reported explosions in areas south of Baghdad, resulting from the fire of ammunition (deposit of weapons and military equipment) in a camp belonging to the popular mobilization.
According to the Ministry of Health, 13 civilians were injured when mortar shells exploded and landed in populated areas as a result of the equipment warehouse explosion, before the announcement new balance sheet.
In 2016, a host of rockets and weapons belonging to the popular mobilization exploded in the region of al-Obeidi, east of Baghdad, causing several Katyusha rockets, which killed and wounded civilians, as well as serious damage to homes and property of residents.
