Chinese phone maker OnePlus is about to launch a new 5G device this year while it plans to expand in the United States and gain new customers from Huawei, Apple and Samsung.
Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, told the Financial Times in an interview that the Shenzhen-based company is also preparing to launch its first smart TV to capitalize on its growing momentum.
OnePlus has managed to overcome the decline in the smartphone market this year after receiving positive reviews of its latest devices (OnePlus 7 Pro), which include a contextual camera and smooth scrolling technology.
