A study from the University of Edinburgh suggests that patients waiting for a hip replacement experience intense pain, worse than death.
The research listed the health conditions of more than 2,000 people on the waiting lists and found that 19% of them had intolerable and severe pain, and that their level was very low. Heart or lung disease.
