Professor Abdullah Al-Salami, a member of the faculty of the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, pointed out that the false testimony did not have atonement, which is one of the main sins that require repentance.
Al-Salami said during his meeting with Al-Majaab Al-Kafi on the Al-Majd chain that false testimony is one of the biggest sins, and the Prophet's warning strongly indicates that It is a great sin, pointing out that scholars have declared that it is not an atonement.
Al-Salami added that false witness must be followed by sincere repentance, which includes remorse for the past and the cessation of guilt and the determination not to return, and then there are rights to slaves, the person who repents must recover and make sure that God can repent.
