Today (Friday), the Bahraini Ministry of Health announced the postponement of the shipment of the vaccine “Pfizer – Biontech”, which was due to arrive in the country this month, according to what the manufacturer informed it.
The ministry said that this delay will not affect citizens and residents who will receive the second dose of vaccination in the next period, according to the scheduled dates, given the availability of the required quantity for them.
She said the company has informed countries that have requested vaccination that it is working to increase production in the manufacture of the Corona virus vaccine, enough to cover demands from all countries around the world, provided that the required quantities are delivered later.
The Health Ministry said Bahrain was one of the first countries to request vaccinations from the aforementioned company, in line with its proactive plans to fight the virus.
