Communication – Agencies:

In a rare astronomical phenomenon, scientists and astronomical observers from around the world witnessed the dawn of the lunar eclipse called the bloody moon, a phenomenon that will not happen again until 2029.

This eclipse occurs when the earth passes between the sun and the moon, where the sun disappears behind the earth and the color of the moon turns orange to red like blood.

The moon is in this state, at the point closest to the planet during its eclipse, so it seems bigger than normal.

The phenomenon started at 2:30 am on Monday.

This total lunar eclipse was visible in the Western Hemisphere, in Europe and in the western part of Africa, as well as in northern Russia.
