Zamalek qualifies for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup (CAF) after a 0-0 draw against Algerian Nasr Hussein Dai in the group stage final.
Zamalek scored the first goal of group A with a direct draw of second place Kormahaya of Kenya.
The quarter-finals of the Confederations Cup will take place next Wednesday, the first two teams coming in second place.
Zamalek of course avoided a big showdown, where it was confirmed that Zamalek was not facing the teams of the Moroccan Renaissance volcano nor the Tunisian Sfaxien or Al Hilal of Sudan, alongside Gormahia, second in his group .
Zamalek will face one of three potential teams in the next round, either ES Sahel, Hassania Agadir of Morocco or Nekana Red Devils of Zambia.
Zamalek has the green light against one of the teams mentioned on April 5, the return match will be held on the 12th of the same month.
