In this regard, in 2018, Umm Al Emarat led the development of a national strategy that would make UAE a friendly mother, child and teenager. This strategy is based on the approach and principles of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to take care of the man and make it the pillar and the axis of development.
The initiative aims to ensure that the rights of mothers, children and adolescents are taken into account as a key element of development policies and strategies, goals, policies, initiatives and projects, and to provide support and health care opportunities to mothers, as well as appropriate environments in public places and at workplaces favorable to the mother and the child , to improve the levels of health care and child safety.
Women's health
The 2015-2021 National Strategy for the Empowerment of Women was part of the state's efforts to ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health services and Reproductive Rights, in accordance with the ICPD Program of Action and the Beijing Platform for Action.
This strategy provides for the provision of services and health care to women who improve their physical and mental health and ensure safe health care for them. Several mechanisms include:

• Attention to the health needs of women in remote areas.
• Strengthen and strengthen health education and awareness programs for women of all ages and all regions of the country.
• Develop mechanisms and programs that promote women's mental health at all stages of life.
Recognizing the importance of promoting women's health and enabling them to play their role in development in various fields, the General Women's Union launched the project "Your Health in the Foreground" in April 2014, in accordance with the National Strategy for the Advancement of Women in the United Arab Emirates.
The project includes a number of activities, events and forums aimed at sensitizing women and all members of the community to the aspect of general health and improving women's health. and girls in particular.
Women's Health Awareness Campaigns
The UAE, in all its specialized health institutions, provides psychological and moral support to women to inform them about the many serious diseases that can be affected by breast cancer.
ADAA was created in 2008 to encourage women aged 40 and older to periodically detect breast cancer by mammography every two years and to undergo a breast clinical examination each year.
The Al Jalila Children's Foundation, in partnership with BreastFunds, a breast cancer support group in the UAE, is also conducting an annual awareness campaign on the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
Other groups launched by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health to help breast cancer patients include Friends of Cancer Patients, Breast Friends and Angels of Mercy.
