LONDON (Reuters) – An English court has sentenced Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, the offensive tweeter, to Merseyside.
On August 6, the accused, Gary Highland, published racist "Tweets" and a series of abusive publications on Twitter.
According to the BBC, the court sentenced the 32-year-old to six weeks in prison for 12 months.
Prosecutors said Highland had targeted the Islamic religion of the Egyptian attacker.
Gary Highland will have to perform 200 hours of unpaid work, as well as a training course in human dignity.
