Health Matters in the Qassim region, represented by the School Health Administration, launched the "My Health at My School" campaign on Wednesday night under the patronage of the region's Director General of Health, Mutlaq bin Mohammed. Al-Khamali, in the Othaim Mall shopping complex, in the province of Onaizah, in the presence of a large number of visitors.
Dr. Badour Al-Harbi, director of the school health department, explained that the event had taken place at the same time as back to school, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Health to raise awareness among students and their families in prevention programs.
She explained that the event included numerous health and awareness initiatives addressing the body's health, including the initiative to reduce student obesity rates "Agility", and to perform a body mass test for all students at the school, in addition to raising awareness about the conduct of the National Initiative for the Prevention of Dental Decay.
She pointed out that the campaign aimed to target the required category of students aged five to 18, as well as parents to educate them about health.
