The Qatari Energy Minister and Chairman of Qatar Petroleum said the company had changed its name to Qatar Energy and indicated a new strategy for the company.
According to the Qatari official, the company will focus on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies such as carbon dioxide capture technology.
He said Qatar Energy wanted to be more energy efficient.
