Rare skeleton for a woman "gave birth to a child" in his grave!

The remains of a young woman "who gave birth to a child" were found in her grave, in a medieval coffin in Italy.

The skeleton of the woman was found with leftover fetuses between the thighs and a hole in the skull indicates that she was subjected to brutal medical treatment.

With the corpse of the woman, who died 1300 years ago at the end of her pregnancy, the accumulated gases forced the dead fetus to come out of her body in a rare phenomenon called "coffin of birth".

"The pressure of the compressed gases leads to the exit of the dead fetus through an interstice from the uterus to the vagina," said Gene Ganther, a gynecologist.

Experts from the Universities of Ferrara and Bologna, who found the women's grave in northern Italy, believe that they died between 25 and 35 years between the seventh and eighth centuries.

After careful scrutiny, the scientists discovered the terrible truth about his death, where the fetal bones were found between his legs. Depending on the length of the femur, the fetus was 38 weeks old when her mother died.

The average pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks, which means that the woman was very close to birth at her death. The remains indicate that the head and trunk of the fetus entered the vagina, while the legs remained in the pelvic cavity.
