MADRID (Reuters) – Robert Moreno said on Tuesday that he was ready to step down from his Spain coaching post and appeal to Luis Enrique 's wish he would resume the work that he was doing. he had left in June, a few weeks before the death of his daughter.

Prior to collaborating in the 2010 Champions League, Moreno had worked as an assistant to Enrique in the clubs of Celta Vigo, Rome and Barcelona.

Moreno made the remarks before the two qualifying matches of the European Championship Spain against Romania on Thursday and against the Faroe Islands on Sunday.
