MADRID – Real Madrid have once again considered recruiting Polish international striker Robert Levandowski, a longtime partner in the Spanish club, but to no avail, as Bayern Munich wants to maintain its services.
Lefandovski, close to Real Madrid, confirmed that Bayern Munich was now in a different position and went to the market to discuss the idea of a new striker with the possibility of rid of Levandovski.
Real plans to sell Mariano Diaz to the Premier League next summer with a EUR 40 million Everton offer.
Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi and Luca Jović are tied to Real, but Levandovski remains a favorite choice of Florentino Perez in recent years, despite the recent withdrawal of the Polish player.
The 30-year-old is currently the Bundesliga's top scorer with 18 goals, seven goals and eight Champions League goals in eight games before leaving the last 16 in Liverpool.
