Madrid – Real Madrid defender and defender Sergio Ramos has been suspended for two matches because of his intention to receive a yellow card in the opening match of the Ajax Amsterdam Champions League during of the 16th day of the Champions League.
The absence of Ramos will prevent Ajax of Amsterdam from facing the return match of the final, the next match of the European League of Champions or the quarter-finals of the Champions League if Real qualifies for Ajax.
Real Madrid beat Ajax in the first leg 2-1 and the return leg will be played in Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
