Real Madrid seeks to exploit the crisis in which the Parisian club Saint Germain lives with the European Union (EU) on the rules of the financial game, to sign one of its stars, Neymar or Kilian Mbabi, next summer.
MADRID (Reuters) – Real Madrid plans to kidnap a Paris star Saint-Germain-Neymar or Mbabi. The Paris club needs 170 million euros to avoid a violation of the rules regarding clean money, reported the Spanish daily AS.
The newspaper added that Al-Basji was looking to make more progress in the Champions League this season to earn more money. The club has received 80 million euros so far and 90 million are needed to end the current crisis.
Florentino Perez, head of the Royal Club, had expressed his desire to join the Brazilian star last summer, but the management of the French club was in short supply.
The Brazilian star joined the Paris Club two seasons ago with a record deal of 222 million euros for Barcelona, and Mbabi has joined Monaco from 180 million euros.
Real's desire to have Saint-Germain sign a star goes beyond the suffering that the team has endured since the departure of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo last summer at Juventus.
