MADRID (Reuters) – Real Madrid have won their fourth consecutive league win this season in the Spanish league.
Real Madrid beat Deportivo Alaves 3-0 in the second round of the local competition.
With the victory, Real climbed to 42 points in third place, while the balance of Alaves at 32 points in seventh place, ahead of Barcelona with 50 points.
Al-Malki managed to finish the first period with a scoreless goal scored by Frenchman Karim Benzema in the 30th minute.
While Alaves tried to draw, Real added a second goal against Brazilian Vincius Jr. in the 80th minute.
