When Realme 3 was announced earlier this month, it was the first smartphone from the Realme sub-brand of Oppo already running on Android 9 Pie. Three more phones will join the concert after being upgraded to Android 9 Pie at the end of the first half of this year. Realme's CEO, Madhav Sheth, has repeated on Twitter that Realme 1, Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1 will receive the Android 9 Pie update which includes Nightscape mode.
When Realme 3 was launched earlier this month, the company boasted of having sent 35 updates by air in the first nine months. This is the first time that we promise to bring the update to Android 9. Now, thanks to the reminder of Madhav Sheth, we know the devices that will also receive ColorOS 6 and its NightScape mode, currently only available on Realme 3 .
The Realme family is about to expand and RealMe 3 Pro is expected to arrive in April. The phone will probably be equipped with a 48 megapixel rear camera, as reported earlier this year. We do not have reliable information about the technical specifications of this phone, but it should be faster than the Realme 3 phone equipped with MediaTek Helio P70 processor. We hope that it will also be equipped with fast charging technology via USB Type-C.
Users of Rm 1, 2 Pro and U1 will have the "Nightscape" mode to come up with their Android Pie update during the first half of 2019.
