Reham Said broadcast a live video on his account for Banstaqm, citing the decision to officially ban him from appearing on the screen for one year for insulting Egyptian women and obese patients. She respected every decision.

Reham Said said that she had faced many problems in her career but that she had not said before that she would not go back to work, but that she would not really come back because she was tired because of the media campaigns directed against her and her desire to devote herself to her and her family, and defended herself in the video. Reham Said confirmed that she had not committed a crime against an Egyptian woman and that she had devoted 16 years to serving the Egyptian woman. She added that she would return to her normal life and withdraw from the media and that she was proud of what she had accomplished. A few days after announcing her retirement because of the assault she was victim of and an investigation for insulting obese patients in her program.
