With respect to ARs, Google is striving to add more tools and devices to the ARCore app and platform.
This time, there are many radical changes, as well as support for more new phones.
Support now includes the new Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, otherwise the platform has undergone bigger changes. The ARCore app on the Google Play Store has been renamed Google Play Services for AR.
Although this change has been visible for some weeks to some, the new name has been officially added to everyone. In addition, Google has supported 60 frames per second on compatible devices.
However, the app has been renamed according to the usual Play services, with the ARCore brand still the official name of Google's Augmented Reality AR platform for Android developers.
In terms of support for new devices, with the Galaxy Note 10, there are more, as follows:
- LG G8S, Style 2, Pen 5.
- Realme X.

- Xiaomi Mi A3.
Finally, if you have one of these phones, the Google Play Services for AR app will be automatically installed and users will be gradually updated.
