On Sunday evening, the Egyptian prosecutor's office renewed the detention of the two artists Mona Farouq and Shaima El Hajj for 15 days following the investigation into sex movies conducted by Egyptian film director and parliamentarian Khaled Yousef.
The decision to renew the detention comes after waiting for their release, Khaled Youssef, who left Egypt since February 1, has yet to be formally charged. In addition, the Attorney General did not send any official letter to waive his immunity.
The two artists appeared in sex with a person who did not show up in front of him, but they recognized the Egyptian director Khaled Youssef.
