The judge of the Egyptian Court of Appeal of the city of Nasr has decided to renew the detention of the business woman Mona Ghadhban 15 days after the investigation of the case of "videos of sex".
Mona was arrested for appearing in a pornographic video with Egyptian director and parliamentarian Khaled Youssef, where she confessed during interrogations that she was married to him in a customary manner.
The decision to renew the detention came as a continuation of the investigation into the case, in which Mona Ghadhban was deported to the women's prison.
Muna arrived at the Nasr City Court to examine the renewal of her detention before the opposition judge, who was immediately taken into custody, in a context of heightened security.
Muna Farouq, Shema El Hajj and Dancer Camelia face the same fate, while Rana Huwaidi, the fifth accused, was arrested.
This comes at a time when Khaled Youssef, who is currently in France, has yet formally made no accusations, confirming that he will return to face his fate immediately after his indictment.
