The engineer Gamal Abdel Rahim, chairman of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, signed a contract with TBEA Zonfa Shanghai High Voltage Switchgear Co. Ltd. to replace and renovate the new East Damietta transformer station, 66/11 kV, 3 × 40 MVV (SIG) in the Delta electrical area.
Gamal explained that the total value of the contract is about 99.7 million Egyptian pounds, and the volume of work to implement (11) 66 kV cell, and (3) distribution tasks of energy and protection and communication of 11KV, in addition to the civil works of the station, with an implementation period of up to 12 months, from the date of award of the contract .
