Al Ittihad Saudi player Luiz Jimenez apologized Saturday for his defeat in the third round of the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Cup.

The player's wife attacked the crowd after Jimenez was criticized by supporters of the federation for intensifying the conflict between the parties before apologizing and promising them the best.

Jimenez came out via his official account on the "Instagram" site to apologize for what happened against them recently and asked them to wait for his superb performance in the next games.

In his message to fans, the player confirmed that he had already played modestly yesterday, but that he was in football and that he would fight to win with Al Ittihad at every meeting.

He called on the crowd to respect the rules of the game because he and his children had constantly received death threats and assured them that he would do everything to help the team.

Al Ittihad supporters have launched a Twitter tag calling for the expulsion of Chilean coach Jose Luis Sierra after Friday's 2-1 defeat by Damac in the third round of the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Championship .

The tag "Sear Sierra Yahadihadin" was traded on Twitter, expressing outrage at the poor performance of the federal team ahead of Damac.
