The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will ultimately be guilty of four tax evasion cases and will be sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence.
According to the Football Italy website, Ronaldo handled his taxes in Spain for four consecutive years between 2011 and 2014, while he was defending Real Madrid.
Each year, taxes were changed, a separate legal offense, which means that Ronaldo is accused of four tax offenses committed during his period of representation with the Royal Team.
For his two-year prison sentence, the current Juventus striker will not be sentenced to imprisonment as he considers that his first offense in Spain is in accordance with Spanish law.
Ronaldo had already sentenced the Spanish government to a fine of 13.4 million euros after handling it with inputs for his propaganda rights, part of which deserved Spain.
The Spanish Ministry of Finance has demanded the introduction of the suspended prison sentence, which would force Ronaldo to actually go to jail in case of repeated violations of the law in the future.
