Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus' top scorer, arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday for the GlobeSoccer World Cup, according to Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the winner of the 10th World Player of the Year Award in 2018 for the fifth time in his career.
Ronaldo has won this award four times in 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2017, while no other player has won more than once.
Ronaldo is competing for the Globe Soccer World Player of the Year award with Frenchman Antoine Grisman of Atletico Madrid and French striker St Germain Kilian Mbabi.
