Cristiano Ronaldo said his decision to temporarily leave Portugal after the 2018 World Cup was not an obsession for individual awarding.
Ronaldo, who joined Juventus in the last summer transfer of 100 million euros won by Real Madrid, has been crowned champion of Portugal in the last year.
"The most important thing is to always support the team, and that comes automatically then," Ronaldo said in an interview with the Portuguese newspaper, "I'm not obsessed with individual tweets."
"I will not hide if I'm happy when I win the prizes, but when I do not win, it's not the end of the world," he said.
"Being away from the World Cup after the World Cup was the best decision, but it was a decision in agreement with his coach Fernando Santos," said Ronaldo.
