Cristiano Ronaldo made a perfect return to the English Premier League with a brace that saw his new former team, Manchester United, beat Newcastle 4-1 in the fourth leg of the competition.
The Portuguese star only needed 47 minutes to score his first English Premier League goal after his return, before adding the second in the 62nd minute.

After the match, Ronaldo wrote in a message to United fans, which he posted on his account on the “Instagram” site: “My return to Old Trafford (Manchester Stadium) was a brief reminder of the secret to call this stage the theater of dreams. “
“For me, this stadium was a magical place where you could do whatever you wanted to do,” he added.
