Celebrity chef Giorgio Baron oversaw Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet throughout his time in Italy, while playing for Juventus.
In an interview with British newspaper “The Mirror”, Baron explained that the secret to Ronaldo’s diet is not expensive foods, but rather being healthy.
“I would bring him organic food, fish, chicken, veal, eggs, avocado, coconut oil and brown rice,” he added.
And Baron indicated that Ronaldo prefers a diet high in protein, while minimizing sugars, fats and carbohydrates.
He pointed out that Ronaldo loved seafood like shrimp and octopus, in addition to whole grains and salads.
Barron explained that he used coconut oil in Ronaldo’s meals because it helps burn calories.
The Italian chef explained that Ronaldo’s diet was associated with intensive training and that he insisted on eating early in the evening.
