The number of viewers of the 2018 FIFA World Cup has exceeded 3.5 billion, which is a new record, said FIFA on Friday.

The total number of viewers on the Asian continent was about 1.6 billion, of which 6557 million viewers, or 18.4% of the total global audience in China, who did not succeed to qualify for the final.
