Here, scientists from the University of Mississle, in collaboration with their European colleagues, have designed a biocompatible material that can locally affect the inflamed area and not requiring change by releasing the antibiotic that gradually melts the skin. Elisabetta Perniakova, researcher at the Laboratory of Inorganic Nanomaterials, said:

Scientists continue to test and improve equipment. Other antibiotics, such as ciprofloxacin, should be incorporated.
