Lawyer Shaaban Saeed, and a media agent, Reham Said, previously reported to the Attorney General against Sama Al-Masry accusations of insults and libel, and he was referred to the North Cairo Prosecutor’s Office who took over the investigation of the incident.
Reham Saeed said in Communication No.11598 of 2019, the complainant about her, filmed last August, a video clip in which she spoke about the complainant and what she decided in an episode about obese patients in one of the episodes of his show on satellite television.

The prosecution also accused her of undermining the principles and values of the family in Egyptian society, by creating, managing and using websites and accounts on the news network, with the aim of commit the aforementioned crimes.
