Brazilian and American doctors have come up with a molecule called "SAMβA" that prevents the development of heart failure and improves blood flow, while reducing the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in cells, associated with oxidative stress and cell damage such as protein, DNA and fats.
According to MedicalXpress, the drug test in the treatment of laboratory mice within six weeks showed that it not only halted the progression of the disease, but also improved the body's condition because it strengthened the muscle heart. When the molecules were tested in mice with myocardial infarction, they prevented the development of heart failure and helped improve health compared to the group of sick mice receiving a placebo.

The molecule "SAMβA" inhibits the interaction between "β2PKC" – protein kinase-C-beta-2 and metofozine 1 (Mfn1), the main component of mitochondria. "P2PKC" inhibits the "Mfn1" component of energy production, resulting in impaired cardiac function.
The effect of "SAMβA" is selective because it prevents mitochondrial dysfunction, but it is safe for other important processes. This molecule has been tested by experiments on the association of proteins, transplanted cells, animals and cardiac tissues taken from patients. He also showed that he was not entering undesirable interactions, unlike six other similar molecules.
