Samsung recently announced a new 108-megapixel camera sensor, in which Xiaomi is expected to introduce the first phones equipped with the new Samsung sensor.
This new sensor would be called "ISOCELL Bright HMX", a size of 1 / 1.33 inches. Developed in collaboration with the Chinese company Xiaomi, the sensor offers the ability to take pictures in low-light areas thanks to Smart-ISO technology, a new technology that allows the sensor to capture a sharp image, high or low. I mentioned Samsung.
This sensor will be able to capture images with a resolution of less than 27 megapixels by combining all 4 pixels into a single pixel, which will give less clear and smaller images, while benefiting from more intense lighting.
In addition, the sensor will also record 6K videos at 30 frames per second (6016 x 3384), which is amazing for a mobile phone.
However, neither Samsung nor Xiaomi have revealed the name of the phone that will be equipped with this sensor, but some hope that the phone is a Mi Mix 4 from Xiaomi.
Samsung has announced that the sensor will be in production this month, probably indicating that we could see this phone before the end of this year.
