Samsung brings more new features to the Weather application

Samsung has released a series of new features for its Samsung Weather weather app in collaboration with The Weather Channel. This app now displays government weather alerts, radar maps, as well as weather videos published by The Weather Channel's editorial team.

Previously, Galaxy phone users could access the Weather Channel website and get more weather information, but radar maps and weather videos now appear in the app. Users will be redirected to The Weather Channel website after clicking on the radar or video, but this is a good step forward to provide more convenience to users.

According to Samsung's press release on the subject, the latest features are currently only available for the Galaxy Note 10 series, but this is not entirely true. The Galaxy Note 10 series comes with new features, but it now seems to be heading to other devices. The same new features are available on the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy Tab S6, although the latter does not contain a video section. Anyway, these features seem to be considered part of the Samsung One UI 1.5 interface instead of the Galaxy Note 10 Series. Therefore, if you have a Galaxy device running Samsung One UI 1.5, you can check if the new features are already available. .

Keep in mind that new features are not available worldwide. Samsung says it has not yet launched these new features in China, Japan and Korea. Another highlight is that videos shared by the editorial team of The Weather Channel are only available in English and Spanish. In addition, weather warnings are supported in a few dozen countries.
