Samsung is preparing to integrate Google 's digital assistant into smart TVs that it plans to launch next year.
According to Variety, the Korean company could announce a new partnership with Google early next year, with the announcement of the 2019 version of smart TVs during its participation in CES 2019, to be held in Las Vegas in January.
The company is also likely to focus more on sound quality, and on some high-end TVs, it can offer technology that simulates Apple's technology via the HomePod.
Samsung's offer for a third-party audio assistant comes just months after the company added its own audio assistant, Bixby, to the 2018 version of its TVs.
But Pixby's capabilities are still very limited compared to those of Google's digital assistant. For example, it can not open and control external applications.
