The Black Shark brand is preparing to launch a new version of the gaming smartphone and recently approved the Black Shark 4 phone in the TENAA database in preparation for the next official announcement.
The Black Shark phone with the codename ‘kaiser’ and model code KSR-A0 was also spotted on the Google Play console last week, and some key specs were revealed.
The Black Shark 4 phone appears in the TENAA database with the SHARK KSR symbol, it also comes with a 6.67 inch AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate like in the Black Shark 3S phone.
The leaks also state that the Black Shark 4 phone comes with a front camera and according to the TENAA leaks it measures 163.83 by 76.35 by 10.3mm, and the phone is also running Android 11.
The Black Shark 4 is one of the next releases with the Snapdragon 888 processor, as AnTuTu scored 780,000 points in testing.
Luo Yuzhou, CEO of Black, has said in previous statements that the Black Shark 4 phone comes with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery.
The phone also supports 120-watt fast charging technology to support charging the phone within 15 minutes, and the Black Shark 4 phone is slated to be announced at the end of February.
Black Shark 4 Pro
On the other hand, the code name PRS-A0 was included in the Google Play console, which is said to be Black Shark 4 Pro.
According to specs, the phone will run Android 11, it also comes with 12GB of RAM and a FullHD + display, and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor.
The Google Play console listing also includes the Black Shark 4 Pro image, which reveals that the smartphone has an in-line selfie camera.
And you can also see that the phone has buttons on its left and right frames. K can be the button on the left is the volume control, and the buttons on the right can be the operation buttons for games.
It is not clear if the PRS-A0 is really Black Shark 4 Pro as it has a FullHD + display unlike its Black Shark 3 Pro predecessor which comes with a QHD + panel.
