Khalid Al Shehhi, executive director of the digital production and communication sector at the UAE government’s media office, asserted that “the UAE’s project to explore Mars is one of the biggest challenges the UAE has faced. faced, and one of the most daring and creative initiatives to reach space. Therefore, this initiative comes to raise awareness of this important fact. And there is nothing better than bringing the two moons of Mars to Earth to make this phenomenon a reality we live in and a simple glimpse of what life will be like on the Red Planet. “

Al-Shehhi also said, “The qualitative experiment of the emergence of the moons of Mars in the UAE skies aims to inspire members of society by raising scientific questions about the environment of Mars, like two gigantic cranes protruding 100 meters and the width of the satellites were used via an advanced screen 40 meters long to make the two satellites visible.
Khaled Al-Shehhi added: “The experiment provides a live simulation of the vision of moons in the sky of Mars, and the answer to the goal of many scientific studies on access to space and the planet Mars. It also helps to provide students and the public with the opportunity to meaningfully interact with the phenomenon and to motivate and nudge students and those interested in studying space science.
It is worth noting that the planet Mars follows two satellites, Phobos and Deimos, which are said to have been asteroids attracted to the orbit of Mars, and they were discovered in 1877 AD, and were named after Phobos, which means panic or fear. and Deimos, which means horror or panic in Greek mythology.
