An official source from the Saudi Interior Ministry announced that new measures have been taken, in light of the Saudi government’s great efforts to limit the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19).
According to the Saudi Press Agency, it has been decided to allow direct entry into the Kingdom of countries whose arrival requires them to spend 14 days outside themselves before entering the Kingdom, at provided that institutional quarantine is applied to them, and that the vaccine is taken during the period of institutional quarantine for the following groups:
1- Faculty members and assimilated in universities, colleges and institutes.
2- General education teachers.
3- The training body of the General Organization of Technical and Vocational Training and training institutes.
4- Scholarship students.
Those who have received a dose or have finished receiving doses of vaccine within the Kingdom are excluded from the application of the institutional stone, provided that this includes the companions of these groups and their families, as well as the workers. public and private sectors.
The decision also included the lifting of the travel suspension for citizens under the age of 18 to the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the application of previously announced requirements for citizen travel.
The source stressed the need for everyone to respect precautionary and preventive measures, and not to be indulgent in the application of health requirements.
The source explained that all precautionary and preventive measures for travel are subject to continuous evaluation by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
