Saudi Education Minister Hamad Al-Sheikh announced the removal of the five-year graduation requirement to enter universities.

During the dialogue session of the “Human Capacities Development Agenda”, one of the programs aimed at realizing the Kingdom Vision 2030, Al-Sheikh stressed that the education process will be accessible to all for life.

He also added that one of the pillars of the program is to provide lifelong learning opportunities to every citizen, stressing that the human capacity development program will accelerate employment upon graduation from the university.

Al-Sheikh said that the citizen’s interest in the human capacity development program will manifest itself from the early stages as it prepares to be competitive in the labor market locally and globally.

In addition, he explained that there are 3 pillars for this program: the first is to develop a flexible and solid foundation for all in human capacity development systems, the second is to prepare citizens for the labor market, and the third is to provide opportunities for lifelong learning for every citizen.
