The General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation will be elected next Monday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as the new chairman of the federation's governing board at its extraordinary meeting.
The meeting of the General Assembly to choose a new president succeeding Councilor Turki Al-Sheikh, who has submitted his resignation from the presidency of the Islamic Solidarity Union, where a new president will be elected for a period ranging from from 2019 to 2021.
The Secretary General of the OIC, Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, will attend the meeting and will review the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games of 2021 at the meeting.
The meeting will also deal with the financial, administrative and technical reports prepared by the General Secretariat of the Federation, as well as two extraordinary meetings of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Sports of Islamic Solidarity.
