Saudi actress Laila Al-Salman has revealed that the “Al-Khattah” series, which will be filmed next Ramadan, has nothing to do with the events of the “Dammam Hijacker” story.
She said in a Tuesday night TV interview that she had contracted two recent works, the first titled “Kidnapping.” She signed her contract two weeks ago and started filming it without specifying the date of its screening. According to the Saudi newspaper Okaz.
She added, and the second work, titled “The Flash”, will begin filming after the end of the Ramadan session.
Al-Salman referred to criticism from communicators for his portrayal of the role of “Maryam,” known in the media as “Dammam hijacker,” after the series’ commercial was released, saying: ” I never mentioned that the work is related to the Dammam incident. The criticism is only to create confusion. “
She added: “Any story that elevates a state in society lends itself to be embodied in a successful work of art.”
