Saudi authorities have arrested seven people, including two US citizens, for their links with women's rights activists, sources said.
According to London-based rights group Al-Qisayyat, the two are: journalist Salah al-Haydar, the son of activist Aziza al-Yousef, released last week on charges of 39, accusations of work and Dr. Badr al-Ibrahim, author of a book on Shiites.
The organization said the detainees were six men and one woman, Khadija al-Harbi, a writer who was arrested despite her pregnancy.
Detainees, writers and bloggers involved in public affairs and calls for reform have been banned from traveling since February.
The Saudi authorities have so far not commented on this information.
The arrested militants appear to have been supporters of 11 Saudi militants detained for nearly a year after demanding changes in the men 's situation towards the kingdom' s women.
Activists were released last week, Aziza al-Yousif Rukiah the warrior and faith Nfjan KOn the case.
The case of activists has sparked a lot of criticism of Saudi Arabia's record of human rights. Some also complained of allegations of sexual harassment and torture while in detention.
